Are My Serum Triglycerides In Normal Range ?

Dear Sir,My Daughter age 6 Months presently , by birth is the case of lipemic serum with marked increased serum triglycerides and cholesterol . she appears to be a case of lipoiprotein lipase deficiency.Serum Cholesterol 1360 mg/dlSerum Triglycerides 12040 mg/dlCT-scan Findings are Suggestive of Grade- C Pancreatitis with Necrosis of less than 10%AscitesHepatosplenomegaly >Kindly advise the Medication, Diet for lowering Triglycerides levels , as she has been admitted 4 times for Severe Pneumonia , Pyogenic Meningitis ,Severe Sepsis , Bacterial Tracheitis , Respiratory Failure ( Requiring mechanical ventilation )

no it is not in normal range, this is higher Level then normal. medication includes lipid lowering drug likes statins(atorvastatin or rivastatin) 20 mg once a day in night. but along with diet modification for better action. lipid lowering drug with diet modification are treatment for huperlipiedemia. you should stop eating lipid rich food.
