Are Pain, Swelling, Numbness And Tingling Sensation In The Hands Symptoms Of Tendinitis?

I have had tendonitis before and gotten 2 rounds of steroids in my wrists, which helped for over a year. Now I have grabbing pains and tingling in both arms and swelling in my hands that can last an hour. The pain happens when I sleep and wakes me up because it is so bad. The numbness and tingling happen any time throughout the day. Is this also tendinitis, or could it be something else?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Consult an orthopaedic and get evaluated. An MRI scan is required to rule out neurological causes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
