Are Racing Heart, Hyperventilating And Productive Cough A Reaction To Zithromax?

I think I m having a reaction to Zithromax . I feel really weird my heart is pounding I can t stop crying And I m hyperventilating my throat hurts worse and I m producing more mucus. They thought I had strep that s why they prescribed it. Should I go to the hospital?

Welcome to HCM and thanks for your query.
Your symptoms are suggestive of a panic attack.
Relax, take deep slow breaths and exhale and inhale to and from a bag .
This would give you relief. You should also practice stress relieving measures like yoga, meditation or relaxation techniques.
If you get frequent attacks and you are not able to handle your stress, you should seek help.
