Are Runny Nose And Cough A Viral Infection?

i have been sick with a runny nose and a cough i have had these symptoms for two weeks i took mucus medicine sat it helped a little but the symptoms never went away today i woke up bad im throwing up i can keep liquids down just not alot my cough wakes me up out of my sleep, i dont want to go into the doctors and they say it is a viral infection i need some advice if you think it is a viral infection or should i go in

Yes, usually they are. In viral flu, the patient may have fever, cough, cold, sore throat, pain in throat, body ache, malaise, running nose etc.
