I have noticed my tendons in arms and shoulder having issues like tennis elbow and my periods are long and sporatic is it linked? I am very active and have layed off my upper body workouts (weight training) but just cleaning the house my tendons will flare up.

Hi,

Tennis elbow and menstrual abnormality are two separate conditions and these both are not related to each other in any way. Therefore, both these entities should be treated as individual disorder. The presence of both in an individual may just be co-incidental.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Satnarain Bansal, General & Family Physician
