Are There Any Side Effects In Terms Of Weight Gain For Cypon Surup?

hi Doctor, Good Evening
I have my 16 months old daughter who has almost stopped eating everything for last 3-4 months except Motherfeed. We try lot of things to make her eat such as Tomato Soup, Dal ka Pani, Chapatti, Rice, Seviyan, Curd, Cerelac etc etc. However. she is really not eating anything (very less like only 2 small bites of Chapatti) etc.

A local doctor has suggested us to give Cypon Surup for 1 week and see the results. Are there any sideeffects in terms of weight gain or any other side effects? Can we give it for 1 week?

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Cypon syrup is given to increase appetite and gain weight.
As it is a anti histtamine preparation it may cause a bit of sedation if used in large doses.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
