Are There Chances Of Swallowing Light Bulb By A 2 Year Old?

My 2 year old may have swallowed a tiny lightbulb from a miniflashlight. I wasn't there, so I don't know for sure. It's been 3 days and no sign of it in his diaper. He previously swallowed a coin which came out in about a day and a half. Because of food bits, I know the stool he has passed has been since the alleged swallowing incident. He is unusally irritable, but I think he may have an ear infection (taking him in tomorrow). We did an x-ray for the coin, so I hate to expose him again. Is it possible to use an ultrasound to check for the lightbulb?

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. Please understand, you should not keep waiting for it to come out through evacuation. You should have visited a health center where a doctor will give a stomach wash and laxatives. You should do it now. The light bulb, however tiny they are, may cause cuts and scratches on the membrane through which it passes. You can even now consult a child specialist for necessary action.

Good luck. Take care.
