Are There Side Effects Of Collicacid Drops? What To Do When Baby Chokes While Crying?

- hi my baby is two and a half months old and cries a lot due to colic every night. we give him collicaid drops 3 times a day before feed. are there any side effects for the same
- on 21 jan 2014 he had his first vacination. (2 injected & 1 oral & rubella oral) . The doctor then advised us to stop the collic aid saying its not good for infants. so we stopped it for 2 days but last nite he suffered a lot and we gave it to him & he was fine. Please advise

- he sometimes cries almost like he is chocking specially at night. what do advise we can do at that time??

Collicaid can be safely given.
When the child is excessively crying check whether diaper is to be changed or baby is hungry, as these could be the commonest cause for excessive crying.
