Are Urinary Incontinence And Pain In The Penis Symptoms Of Prostate Cancer?
I had prostate cancer since 1999. That year, I had radiation, which took care of my higher PSA. In 2013, I had cryoablation. This negated my PSA, but left me w/ increasing urinary problems. Currently, my last PSA was 6.5 last November. I now have urinary incontinence, When urinating, I have a weak dribble and pain @ the penis tip. Might I have a recurrence of prostate cancer or bladder cancer? Thank you.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
* As per my surgical experience, the incontinence and penile pain may have multiple reasons apart from prostate cancer as - neurology issues - urinary infection - issues with bladder muscle tone - urethral pathology - others.
I recommend to consult urologist for the same and get evaluated rather than being in dilemma.
Thank you.
Take care.
