Are Vaginal Spotting And Frequent Urination While On Uristat A Cause For Concern?

I was diagnosed with an UTI yesturday and I have been taking the antibiotics and been using uristat for the symptoms. I just started experiencing vaginal spotting when I wipe which i have never experienced before with UTIs. Its just bright red streaks, i also havent really gotten relief from the uristat. Still have an urgency to pee. Should I be concerned for is it just my bladder irritation?

As there is frequent urination with vaginal spotting, it suggests associated vaginal infection and cystitis. Nothing to panic, I would suggest additional guidelines to cure faster:
- Drink plenty of liquids.
- Continue antibiotic as per the guidance of your doc.
- Keep the genitals clean with antiseptic liquid.
- Wear loose, clean, cotton inner wears.
- Avoid vaginal sex (if active).
- Sitz bath with gentian violet 2 times a day.
Be in regular follow up with your doc.
