Hi and thanks for the query,
Traumatic nerve damage is a common problem observed during trauma conditions. An important aspect in the management process of these patients is insisting on the fact that the relief or outcome is actually a function of time. It usually takes some time from months to at times a year for actual improvement or especially muscle function after confirmed nerve damage. Important aspects that could improve care include use of physiotherapy services which actually accelerate regain or function and at times Vitamin B complex vitamins. Follow up is however very vital.
I would suggest you consult a physiotherapist.
thanks and best regards,
Luchuo, MD.
