B Cell Nonhodkins Lymphoma, Legs Red And Sting Real Bad. Prescribe Lasix And Leukocytoblastic Vasculittis Done. Should I Consult A Specialist?
I was dx with leukocytoblastic vasculittis when I had b cell nonhodgkins lymphoma.in remission for 8 years now. now every time I'm going to come down with something or some kind of virus I start third spacing in my legs sometimes 2+ to 3+. legs vet very red and sting real bad. Or sometimes it looks like a very large blotchy red rash that runs up the inside of my legs up to my groin.. My dr did a eche which was neg. and she prescribed me Lasix 10 mg qd. Is there anything else I can do or mabey which specialist should I have her consult me with.
Hi I just read this, and it seems as per your statement there is no NHL activity currently and i hope the relevant imaging has been done As regards to leg edema check your albumin levels, urine protein , and Kidney function tests and I think your doppler is negative Now if this edema is being controlled by Lasix you can take same but you should keep yourself well hydrated and take thios for a short period for eg 5 days you can also try some simple techniques as leg elevation , stockings if the imaging for lymphoma has not been done for abdominal nodes please get the same done
