few lifesyle modification i can advice to control your blood pressure as well as your 
cholesterol 
first is quit  tobacco use in any form if you are using 
regular brisk walking atleast 30 min a day for almost all days in a week 
maintain your ideal body weight (your BMI should be inbetween 20 to 25)
restriction of your total salt intake 
adopt DASH 
diet plan (means diet rich in fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables , low in 
saturated fat like dhee , butter ,etc. )
take good amount of fluids orally 
other measure like having pets , listening music ,yogas , free walk in nature , reading good books will also reduce 
stress and make you relax and help you to control your BP
