Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Since your Blood Pressure is 120/60 & pulse is 50-55 it means hypotension & bradycardia.
Let me explain you , how metoprolol acts,
It inhibits beta, receptors & causes reduced HEART TATE & decreases BLOOD PRESSURE. Cardiac output is reduced.
Already your blood pressure is low with 50 mg twice in a day including bradycardia.
So ,if you will further increase the dose , what will happen ?
May be chances of heart failure , so be aware about this .
In my opinion consult Cardiologist and get his opinion ( 3rd) and deal accordingly.
Good luck.
