Baby Bump Growing Larger. Ultrasound Shows Gestational Sac, High HGC Level. History Of Endometriosis, PCOS, Prolapsed Uterus

Per the calendar and how my body looks and feels I am 16-18 weeks pregnant but the hgc blood tests keep going down even though my baby bump keeps growing larger. Ultrasound at approximately 12- 13 weeks showed gestational sac with hgc of around 1500 two days later they dropped to about 1100 two days later to around 500 then 1 week later to 55 then two weeks later to 18. Why and what does this mean. I also have hystory of endometreosis PCOS prolapsed uterus cervix that had to be cryo frozen and many years of surgeries. This is my first documented pregnancy. Please Help!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello ma'am and welcome.

This is perfectly normal. The hCG levels rise since conception by doubling every 72 hours, reaching its peak at 9-11 weeks of pregnancy. From there on the levels begin to drop through the pregnancy. This is nothing to worry about ma'am. Keep your doctor informed and all should be fine.

Best wishes.
