Baby Developed Small Bumps Around Mouth, Also Teething. Cause For Bumps?

Hello! My 11 month old son developed these small little bumps around his mouth and just notice around his right eye. He has no fever , no sickness what so ever just only that he is teething , so anyways I was wondering what could cause this to happen?? Another thing about my child that he puts everything in his mouth so I was wondering that could be a reason he is getting these bumps.

Hi,

Thank you for your query.

At this age children do put every thing in the mouth. It is quite possible that your son might have hurt himself around the mouth and the right eye while trying to put things in his mouth. As I have not examined him it is difficult to give a reason. Other possible cause(s) are insect bites, boils, etc. Since there is not other problem I would suggest that you can wait and watch. In case they increase in size or number, you need to consult a doctor.
