Hi,
Thank you for your query,
It is looking like a viral illness as there are no other symptoms of any associated infection like cold or cough.
Give Tylenol every 6 th hourly in prescribed doasge for fever and if the fever is high do tepid sponging with luke warm water.
Give plenty of oral fluids and maintain proper nutrition.
Follow your doctor advice and review if fever is not getting down and with investigation reports.
Hope i have answered your query.

Pediatrician Dr. Synthyia Bhagat's  Response
Hi
Thanks for your query.
Fever in your baby is viral in nature and will take few days to subside.
I suggest you to continue with tylenol every 6 hourly if fever shoots above 100F.
Give plenty of fluids, fruit juices.simple bland diet so as to maintain hydration and nutrition.
He should take complete rest.
In case symptoms persist get him evaluated again by your doctor.
Wishing your baby good health.
God bless.
