Baby Having Fever. Gave Novamax Drop. Dosage? How Long Should I Give? Side Effects?
Hi, my 3 months baby was having fever 1st time. My pediatrician given Novamax drop. dosage 3 times a day for 5 days. I have already given for 2 days. baby is not having fever from 1 day. How many more days I should give it to my baby? Is there any side effect giving antibiotic for 3 months old baby? Any thing I can do now as I already given the antibiotic for betterment.

your three month old baby had fever, pediatritian gave novamox drops three times a day five days. fever is contolled and your doubt is how many days you should continue, and any side effects.
Amoxycillin(novamox) is a good drug usually well tolerated by the children, and you found it is effective to you child's infection. You should continue it for three more days for complete eradication of the infection.
Regarding the side effects you better don't try to know them, because if you know you will feel that they are there.
If you find some thing different you consult your doctor.
