Baby Having Red Bumps Around Mouth, Back, Face, Feet, High Fever. Does It Require Medical Attention?

My 187 month old daughter started having red bumps around her mouth earlier last week. I assumed it was possibly from milk or sweat. She ran a fever Thursday night of 101.4. After some med. it dropped to 99.5 and then she has not had a fever since. She woke up today with red bumps all over her back and face and feet . What could this be? Should I go ahead and see the ped. today?

Hi,

Definitely, you take her to consult paediatrician or dermatologist.

Fever with rash might be due to some viral infection.

Antipyretic ,antibiotics and antihistaminics may be given.

Calamine lotion may be applied.
