Hi Dear
welcome to the HCM,
All the breast fed child use to pass loose and frequent stools, and formula fed child are usually constipated and use to develop some such symptoms like gripping, infantile
colic, excessive eructations and
vomiting.
Babies should not be supplemented with formula milk even if there is little breast milk is available to the baby until and unless there is some medical contraindication for breast feeding.
More the baby sucks the breast, more the sensations are sent to the brain for the production of milk (suckling reflex) and more the breast milk is produced.
More you supplement the baby with top feed, then less the suckling the breast and in turn less production of breast milk (means top feed is inversely proportional to breast milk production).
Benefits of breast milk are always incomparable with formula milk.
These all formula milk are more or less same with minor differences.
Some flatulent medicines like colicaid drops etc will help your child, Proper burping and positioning of the child and bottle both during feed is quite important etc.
BREAST MILK IS BEST FEED FOR THE CHILD.
Hope the query is answered.
Thanks
