Backside Of The Toe Is Deep Purple, Swollen, Painful, Unable To Move Toe. What Should I Do?
Im not sure if i either jammed or broke my middle toe .the backside of the toe is deep purple on the back and sides of the toe, very swollen where the toe actually sits on the toes next to it, and the top of my foot radiating down is also bruised a purple color about half way down my foot.i am able to barely move the toes up and down with quite a bit of pain
Hi welcome to HCMForum. The swelling could be due to hitthng some thing or injury or a bite lastly paronichia.
I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. It may burst by it self or may require incision.
Besides i advise you some diet restrictions as dont take pulses potato and fish. wishing for a quick recovery.

Backside Of The Toe Is Deep Purple, Swollen, Painful, Unable To Move Toe. What Should I Do?
Hi, The possibility of fracture of the middle toe is high. Please get an x-ray of the affected toe early to look for the same. In such case, a splint and immobilization of the toe will help in healing. It should not take more than 6 weeks to heal. Meanwhile, apply ice packs locally. Regards,
