Baker Cyst On Back Of Knee, Rheumatoid Arthritis. Had MRI Of Knee. See A Vascular Doctor?
Good evening, my orthopedics surgeon recently recommend that I see a vascular doctor because of a baker cyst at the back of my knee the size of a golf ball. After reviewing the MRI he told me that I have a very bad knee and he can t do anything for me because that s outside of his specialty. He has recommend me to see another orthopedics doctor. In the mean time I am having severe pain. I am 57 years old and was diagnosed with RA about 4 years ago.
Hi, From history it seems that you might be having severe osteoartheritis of knee joint giving rise to this problem. You may require to undergo for joint replacement operation. Consult orthopedic surgeon and get examined and take his opinion. Meanwhile you may take NSAID medicine to get relief from pain. Ok and take care.
