Bakers Cyst In Knee, Varicose Veins, Lightheadedness, Low BP. What Is Going On?
Hi I recently saw my gp ( Friday 5th july) because I have a bakers cyist in the back of my left knee and varicous veines in my right leg. Every job I have had as been where I am constantly stood but I,m finding more recently that after short periods of time stood I feel light headed, drained, faint like symptoms. My gp said that my symptoms were not linked to my legs and after checking my blood pressure said it was low. I have always had normal blood pressure even during both my pregnancies. Can you tell me please why I am suffering with low bp?
Your cause of low B.P seems to be due to long standing. This is neurally mediated. So avoid prolong standing. Another common cause is posture related and it is called as postural hypotension. Other causes are diabetes mellitus hypoglycemia ,hypothyroidism ,antihypertensive medicines, electrolyte imbalance, Heart failure, liver disease etc. so you need proper investigation.
