Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Over the past few months I have been loosing my balance and falling over, usually falling backwards or sideways. I have a mussey head most of the time. Blood pressure is normal to low.I am 69 and have had sciatic nerve pain for about two years. This has been investigated, conclusion, degenerating facet joints lumbar 4 5 and Sacrum 1,left sided. I have had two lots of steroid injections and radiofrequency denervation. This has given relief for a short period of time. My walking has been affected greatly as I have left calf pain and leg pain on standing and walking, Consequently I have lost confidence in my ability to walk anywhere on my own.
HI Thank fro choosing HCM I can understand your problem, but it says that every dark cloud has got silver lining, do not give up the hope, as long as the pain is concern, the nature gives us pain which is much bearable to us, only thing is required is patience, just relax build up your bearing capacity for pain, I advise you to not try any potent pain killer, any NSAID would give good result, with relaxation therapy, Have nice day.
