Bit By Dog Inside Thigh. Bruised. Inside Bite Is Numb. Normal?

I got bit by a dig a fee days ago on the inside of my thigh. The dog didn't really puncture the skin, but I now have a big bruse and around and inside the dig bite is numb, is this normal? This is my sisters dog and they have been keeping her isolated from other dogs to see if she has rabies, and so far she hasn't changed.

Hello,

Any dog bite should be taken seriously.
The nature and site of injury is very important in assessment and management of the injury.
If it is a vaccinated pet dog than observation is needed.
If it is a stray animal the vaccination should given to the individual.
Leking is considered safe.
But if there is any scratch, open wound due to nail or bite vaccination should be administered.
