Bitten By Mosquitoes. Swollen Limbs. What Is The Cause? Is It Elephantiasis?
Hi Good Afternoon, M name is Ravi and I a 28 years. I travelled from Hyderabad to bangalore yesterday in a Bus. During the journey there were lot of mosquitoes and in the morning when I checked bot my lower limbs were swollen. I suspect if it is caused by mosquito bite, also this might have caused Elephntoisis. Can you please suggest a treatment

swelling over limb is due to inflammation induce by mosquito bites .
chances of elephantitis is not there ,but it may spread fever like malaria ,dengue .
for itching take anti histaminic and for swollen skin apply mild steroid cream
you can apply repellent cream like odomus to prevent bite
if you feel fever ,malaise or other symptoms ,consul doctor without delay
