Bleeding is still continue even after 12th day of having sex, though we used protection(condom). This was my first chance and I am afraid if i m pregnant. Kindly help me.

OBGYN 's  Response
Hello
Thanks for your query.
Please consult your gynecologist at the earliest, as this type of bleeding is not normal at all.
Stress , weight loss or gain, anxiety, thyroid dysfunction , ovarian cysts, hormonal medications, cervical lesions - all could cause this type of abnormal bleeding.
Please have a consultation for exact diagnosis.
Take care.

OBGYN Dr. Nilofer AR's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for the query.
Bleeding following sexual intercourse is due to local injury mostly your hymen. Contact your doctor if bleeding does not stop.
Less likely you are pregnant. To be on a safer side get a UPT done.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Dr Nilofer
