Hi,
according to the information given by you, your daughter most probably having
anal fissure(anal mucosal tear)
Causes to develop anal fissure are,
Passage of hard and dry stool,
Diarrhea
Inflammation of anorectal area,
Digital or foreign body insertion,
Vitamin B-6 deficiency
In case of anal fissure she will experience pain or burning sensation during defecation and following it. The blood will be seen not mixed with stools.
Around 50% of fissures heal by themselves. Treatment can be adviced is,
Taking more fluids and high fiber diet,
Has to avoid constipation because it will repeat the problem,
Stool softeners can be used.
Sitz bath (means keeping one tub of luke worm water and adding 1 to 2 caps of disinfectant and sitting in that) decreases the pain.
Using cream containing analgesic, antibiotic and anti-inflammatory components.
If problem repeatedly occurs better to consult doctor because it will lead to chronic fissure which will further aggravate the problem.
take care
