Bleeding Small Amounts Of Old Brown Blood, Unprotected Sex. Chances Of Pregnancy?

Yesterday i found a small amount of old brown blood on my knickers. today ive found some more. Ive had unpretected sex with my partner twice but it was after i was fertile according to my fertility chart. Is there a chance i could be pregnant. I had the same symptoms when i fell with my second child. im a bit confused.

Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.

If you are having unprotected intercourse during your cycle, there is certainly the chance of pregnancy. It sounds like you are using a version of "family planning" to avoid pregnancy, and this has a high risk of an unplanned pregnancy.

The spotting could be related to pregnancy and associated with implantation bleeding, or it could be related to anatomic changes within the uterus, such as polyps. It is worth doing a pregnancy test to be sure that you are not pregnant, and then calling your OB/GYN to schedule a visit to look at the cervix and perhaps even perform an ultrasound to look at the uterus. I am sure that this can be evaluated and likely solved in your case.
