Blister On Baby's Foot After A Surgery For Removal Of Extra Toe

My child had foot surgery on 4/20/11 to remove an extra toe. Since then, a large blister has developed on the top of his foot. What do I do? He s 10 months old and had the same surgery on the other foot with no adverse reaction.
