Blister On Penis Head Popped Up, Fear Of Having Herpes. Is It Due Masturbating?

Hey im having a single blister that has popped up in the same place its like a blister on the shaft close to my head of my penis I popped it and I have no pain and no other blisters im happily married and fearful of the chances of having herpes and giving it to my wife
I was wondering if I could have caused this by masturbating or my underwear but I have no other symptoms associated with herpes

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

From your description, it does not fit into herpes unless you have had a contact with herpes infected source. It could be an isolated allergic reaction any cutaneous infection. You may observe it for a while and see if there is pain/ itching or new blister formation and then see your doctor.

Please note herpes can also be spread by close skin contact and lesions are very painful, usually located in genital, oral or chest and upper back regions.
If in doubt please consult a dermatologist.

Hope this helps.
