Blister On The Back Of Each Ankle, Sore And Swollen. Any Home Remedy ?
Four days ago I wore a new pair of shoes sans socks. I got a blister on the back of each ankle. One popped the same day on its own and the other remains in tack. The one that popped is now sore, ankle swollen, red and tender - to the point that it hurts to walk/put pressure on the ankle. Is there any home treatment? And why would my whole ankle swell?

Hello,
The new shoes could either not fit right or are not broken in (too stiff) which can cause the ankle to swell. Make sure to use a topical antibiotic on the broken blister and when the other breaks, use it there as well. Place large band aids over the blisters and try to wear different shoes or shoes with no backs (sandals) until the broken skin heals.
