Blood In Motion

Hi, Mu daughter who is aged 3 had a bit of blood in her motion today, this is the 1st time we have notice this.My husband said it was a grey looking colour as well.

Don't worry about this....,
It is common in this age...
You said first time ...that means , it coulbe Bacillary dysentery.., Hence.........
1) don't stop oral intake, give plenty of oral fluids, replace fluidity by giving oral rehydraton therapy..
2) treat the infection by giving norfloxacin and metronidazole combination syrup..5 ml two times daily...
3) recommend anal hygiene ....
4) if pain abdomin is there, give antispasmodic syrup ..,Dicyclomine hydrochloride ( cyclopam) any how consult once children specialist to ruled out any other pathology...ok. good luck
