Blood In Stool, Stomach Cramps, Constipation. Taking Laxative. Advice?

Hey I have about two tablespoons of blood through my stool. My stomach cramps to the point I feel like my inside are being ripped out when I eat or during sleep. I've been constipated off and on for a year and never had this problem before. The stomach pains started two weeks ago when I took a laxative and a stool softener. Is this normal of constipation?

Hi there ~

I understand your concern. It is very likely that you have either internal hemorrhoids or another condition that would need surgical attention. Constipation can make this worse. Keep adequately hydrated and eat a lot of vegetables and do use laxatives that are FDA approved. I hope this helps.

Take care and have a lovely day!
