Blood In Urine, Pain In Left Side. Normal X Ray, Negative For UTI. Any Ideas?

Hi, last week Monday I went to the doctor because I was peeing straight blood. They did a urine test on me for a uti and that came back negative. She said there was lots of blood in my urine though. She then proceeded to do an x-ray and that came back fine. Yesterday I went to the doctor and had another urine test and I still have blood in my urine. I also have a really bad pain on my left side. What is wrong ?

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
I would come up with these possibilities for this case of hematuria .
May be due to kidney stone , diagnosis can be confirmed by ultrasound fo both kidneys with ureter , urinary bladder.
In my opinion get in blood for serum creatinine , blood urea .
In my opinion consult a urologist and get his opinion. Good luck. Dr. HET
