Boil On Chin, Red Skin. How To Get Rid Of This?

Hi I have which feels like a lump like boil spot on my chin I picked at it to burst spots to make it go away but it peeled skin away and bigger lumpy spot is under the skin my chin feeling like its going to explode and there's exposed angry red skin please let ne no how to get rid of this angry spot and reduce the redness please help x

Hi Thanks for using HCM.

The swelling you had suggests sebacious cyst. This will burst open on its own to remove the pus(yellow / white colour) if you or no one intervenes it. If it is other swelling and increases in size with severe pain then we have to Drain them.
Now you can give warm compression on it. Once it bursts open there won't be any pain. Take anti inflamatory drug like NSAIDs whic will reduce pain also.
Once drained then you can start antibiotic and not before that (chances of antibioma). Hope I answered your question. Wish you good health . Take care.
