Bony Bump Sticking On Shoulder, Mildly Painful. Lifting Weights Prior To This. Recommendations?

I recently noticed a bony bump sticking up one shoulder where the collarbone meets the acromion process. It's only mildly painful to the touch and I have movement of the shoulder without pain. It is about 1/2 inch in height and very noticeable. No injury I'm aware of although I had been lifting weights prior to this occurring.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The bony bump that you have noticed can be an inflamed bursa or the inflammation of the joint. An examination and X-ray is required for proper diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
