Born HIV Positive, Had Stopped ARV Medicine. Had Fungal Growth In Brain, Recovered To Walking But Limbs Are Restricted

My wife and I live in Thailand. We have a 22 year old Thai friend who was born HIV positive.Mainly due to lack of support she stopped taking her ARV medication. She then had a fungal growth in the brain which almost killed her. She has recovered to walking with a pronged walking stick but her left side limbs especially below the elbow and knee are very restricted in ROM. Can vitamin/mineral help. She is back on her ARV's

If your friend was born HIV positive, then ARV plays a very important role to increase the lifespan of the patient. Please let her continue with her medication and mineral and vitamins can help. She has to undergo regular follow up at her ART center. Thanks.
