Bought A New Tempurpedic Mattered. But Had Hives & Chest Pain. Slept In Another Mattress But Got Swelling On Arms. Suggestions?
Hi I am a healthy 40 year old woman. 4 month ago I purchased a tempurpedic mattered and experienced hives and chest pain the second night I slept on it. I got rid of the mattered after a month during which I was sleeping in another bed. Since then I am having urticaria and swelling on the arms . I have tried to take Allegra, benedral or reactin but it only helps a little. I though it was an issue with the liver not detoxifying well so I am on antioxidants Nac, eliminated all diary or gluten from my diet taken L-glutamin and probiotic in case it was leaky gut so far no real improvement. The mattress had Avery strong smell . Any advise? I am exhausted from trying so many things ?...
Hi. It appears that you have got the matress still at your home, even the touch or wind from that matress can cause allergy, so i advise you to keep it in another room, away from your living room. I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe levocitrizine, montelecast, and mild steroid with minimal dose , and an antibiotic for 5 days. Thank you.
