Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello, you can have such kind of pain till swelling is there but as you mentioned that your I displaced fracture extends into joint, it's an articular fracture and the choice of treatment is open reduction and internal fixation I.e. using a very low profile plate and screws to hold the fracture in position. Thank you

General & Family Physician Dr. Masroor Mir Hussain's  Response
It seems that your fracture is putting pressure on the nerve which is causing pain on movement. You should check with your ortho if you need any fixation of your fracture either by manipulation or surgically if the pain worsens. You should also avoid movements and provide adequate rest and wait to see if the pain subsides as healing progressess.
