Brown Spotting, Headache. Recently Stopped Breastfeeding. Normal?

Yes. I was breastfeeding and recently weened my baby. I had what I think is a period but it was all brown. It was not a period heavy enough to wear a pad. During the whole period, I have used less then a half of the pad. It lasted 5 days and since then, I have had the worst headache . Is that normal because I never had either of these problems?

Hello
thanks for your query.
Following breastfeeding, return to normal periods might take a few cycles.
what you experienced is normal for a period post breastfeeding.
The headache is not normal though.
You should have a pregnancy test, if you are not using protection.
If you persist in abnormal periods after a few months consult your gynecologist.
All the best.
