Bruise On The Buttock, Soreness On One Side And Stiffness During Walking Post A Bang On The Buttock And Head. Chances Of Fracture?

I am 57 years old and fell out of bed laterally after losing balance when reaching for a phone charger. I hit my left buttock and then banged my head backward. I have a three inch round bruise on my left upper buttocks initially bright red and now fading. I have a soreness on my left side and some stiffness when walking but I have been walking. Is it likely anything is broken?

Hi, Thanks for query.
It seems that you might have some blood collection on left buttock, called hematoma.
There is less chance of having fracture as you can walk.
Pain you got might be due to strain over the muscle.
Take antibiotic and anti inflammatory medicine for 3-5 days.
If pain and difficulty in walking persisted,go for x ray of the part to rule out any fracture at hip or thigh.
Ok and bye.
