Bruised Or Broken Toe As A Heavy Object Fell, Itching, Occasional Pain. Doing Massage, Soaking

I dropped a really heavy object on my left foot, and my big toe is either bruised or broken. I can bend it, and I have fairly good flexibility in one direction (just limited in opposite direction), and the pain is only occasional. But the toe is really itching! I have been soaking it, massaging when I can, and staying off of it as much as I can, but I'm pretty active. Am I doing the right things? What of the itching?

Hi, it appears that you have a collection of blood in the finger, and there also could be a hair line fracture, of metatarsals of the big toe.
You may need to have immobilization of the toe, still you can attend the daily activities.
So i advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.Thank you.
