Bruised Thigh Like Insect Bite, Red Spot. Worry?
Hi there, two weeks ago I had a bad bruise on side of thigh which looked like an insect bite coz it had a red dot then flesh. Around dot then a massive bruise. Now over the lastt three days I ve aquired another huge bruise on back of other thigh, a long bruise on outter shin and 4 dots of bruising on calf , and a big bruise on outside of thigh. Should I be worried seeing as I don t remember bumping into anything hard enough to cause such bruising. Thanks

Although most important cause of bruising is trauma but there can be various other reasons for it like..
Platelet and clotting disorders.
Consumption of medicines like aspirin,anti coagulants,pain killers etc.
Even fish oils,ginkgo,garlic etc can also cause in explained bruises.
Old age in itself can result in bruises because of fragile blood vessels.
Lastly some serious medical disorders like leukemia can also cause bruises.
I would advise you to consult your doctor and get investigated properly so that a proper cause can be found.
Treatment would depend upon finding the cause.
