Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.

The initial conservative management of Fracture humerus is as follows -
* protection of the injured area with the help of a splint or brace
* rest to the local part and avoding any movements that produces pain
* Ice packing once in 2 hours to alleviate the pain and inflammation
* elevation of the limb and active finger movements to resolve the swelling
* analgesic medications like advil or aleve to reduce the pain.

Consult an orthopedic surgeon for the definitive management.

Hope this information is helpful. Good day
