Bruising , Swelling, Got Injured On Thigh. Diabetic. Anything To Worry?
my dad had an injury to his thigh area 6days ago (a large wood log smashed his leg) and only today the bruising has appeared along with swelling (but the bruised area is not painful however it's about 20cm in width and the colour of the bruise is dark red/mixed with purple...is this something to be concerned about? is there risk of blood clots or internal bleeding? He also has diabetes, does that pose more risk of anything to the injured area?
hallo dear friend i hv studied your case bruise is due to blood collection its not a problem untill its infected diabetics have tendancy for early infection so you have to quatious check for signs of infection like fever ,raised local temp, pain apply thrombophobe ointment take rest , take some analgesic , cold fomentation avoid lifting weights
