Bug Bite With White Center, No Pain, Persisting After Months. How Can I Get Rid Of This?

Hi,
about 2 months ago I noticed what I thought was a bug bite of some kind on my left pec. About 2 inches with a white whelk in the center. There has been no pain. After about 2 months is has faded a bit but it is still looks like a light faded bruise with a large light area in the center. If I drag my finger across it, it does lighten up but the redness comes back almost instantly.
I just wrote it off as a spider bite but shouldn't it be completely gone by now? Like I said there is no pain but is this red ring something that will stay for ever?

Hi there ~

I understand your concern. I also believe that you have had a tick bite. These are common and you should be concerned for possibility of diseases that are transmitted by these bites. I would be particularly concerned about lyme disease for you. However, please visit with a doctor to find out what may be the reason for your lesion and get the appropriate treatment. I hope this helps.

Take care and have a lovely day!
