Bulge On Neck Along Carotid Artery Below Jaw Bone. Due To Climbing Uphill?
Two days ago a small bulge appeared on the right side of my neck along the carotid artery about an inch below my jaw bone. I'm not sure why this has developed and I feel fine, but I am cycling in Italy, and I'm concerned. Is it possible that that a touch hill climb and strain in the neck region could cause such a bulge? Any advice?
The bulge is unlikely to be related to the climb or strain. There are several possibilities depending on the extent, colour, consistency, pain, nodes and so on. You should get yourself examined by an Internist and/or General surgeon
