Bulge Varicose Vein On Leg. Paining While Walking. What Could Be This?
Hi, I have a varicose vein in my leg that runs from above the knee to half way down my shin, it bulges out quite a lot in places but never really given me any pain. I am on holiday and my leg gt sunburnt and now I have terrible pain specifically from the vein, the rest of my leg that got sunburnt apart from being a bit uncomfortable is fine. However, the pain in my leg is so severe from my varicose vein I can barely walk, any suggestions as to what I can do?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The bulged varicose vein on the leg that is painless could be a physiological variation that is commonly seen in thin built individuals. This can also be related to an incompetent venous valve. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Praveen Tayal , drtayal72@gmail.com
