Bump In Vagina After Having Intercourse. Tests Done To Check For Genital Herpes. Can Semen Cause Bumps?

i have been with my partner for 4 years, ive been faithful, he says hes been faithful. we have begun trying to get pregnant and his semen caused some vaginal bump two days after intercourse. I have been to a clinic and i will know on tuesday if this is genital herpes. Although he is questioning me because he doesnt have any symptoms no bumps or lesions. Is there any possibility that semen caused the bumps?

There are many reasons of bumps on genital area most commonly due to sexually transmitted diseases.

Cause of bump can only be known by examination and nature of bump.

If you are thinking of possibility of genital herpes, then this virus lives in nerve ganglia and it is not passed through body fluids like saliva and semen.
It is transmitted only by skin to skin contact and sexual contact with an infected person.
